Chandrachur Basu (born 1 December 2006), also known as The Most Honourable Chandrachur Basu [1] or His Excellency Chandrachur Basu is an Indian micronationalist who is currently serving as the Administrator of the Special Administrative Territory of Chandril from 1st January 2021. He earlier served the same role from 19 October 2020 till his resignation on 17th December 2020. Previously, he served as the President of the Republic of Lowenia since the foundation of the nation on 2nd May 2020 until the merger of the nation with the State of Vishwamitra on 18 October 2020.
As President of Lowenia, he was instrumental in the Lowenia-Blackpink War, which Lowenia unfortunately lost. He also helped in the expansion of the diplomatic spheres of the country, which led to Lowenia join the Cupertino Alliance[2][3] in August 2020 and the Association of South Asian Micronations in September.
He was previously the Deputy Finance Commissioner to the MOF.

Personal life
Chandrachur Basu was born on 01 December 2006 in the city of Kolkata in India. He and his family lived in Gurgaon from 2005 to 2008, when they shifted to another city, Bangalore which is located in South India. He is currently a student and is pursuing his school education from Delhi Public School E-City.
Micronational life
In Lowenia
Chandrachur Basu founded the Republic of Lowenia on 2nd May 2020 and assumed the office of the President of the nation soon after it's foundation. It was under his leadership that the nation joined Cupertino Alliance[2][3] in August 2020 and the Association of South Asian Micronations in September. However, it became almost impossible for him to lead the nation and eventually, he proposed to Dhrubajyoti Roy of the State of Vishwamitra to merge his nation with the State.
After deliberations between the two leaders, on 18 October 2020, the Treaty of Chandril was signed following which it was decided that the Republic of Lowenia shall cease to exist from midnight and that the territories shall be transferred to the State of Vishwamitra and the Special Administrative Territory of Chandril shall be established following the dissolution of the republic.[4]
In Vishwamitra
The following day, he was appointed as the Administrator[5] of the Special Administrative Territory of Chandril by the Sovereign His Majesty Dhrubajyoti Roy, the Rashtradhyaksh of Vishwamitra.
He founded the PPV[6]and became Chairman for a month before resigning.
He was awarded the Member Special Class of the Most Excellent Order of the Vishwamitra and Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Lotus on 19th October 2020 and became a recipient of the Commemorative Medal of the 20th Birthday of the First Prime Minister[5] on 11th
November 2020 for his contributions to Vishwamitra.
He also became Commander and Knight of the Order of Chandril[7] on 30th November 2020 due to him being the then Administrator of Chandril
As Administrator of Chandril, he planned a copper railway[8] that will connect all parts of Chandril City.
He eventually resigned from the position of Administrator of Chandril on 17th December 2020. Here is the copy of the resignation letter:-

Dear Sir, I would like to inform that I am resigning from my position as Administrator of Chandril. This is effective from December 18th 2020.
I feel that as an Administrator, I have tried my best to administer Chandril but we both know that I am not a person who can administer any place, even if that place was made out of gold.
You have been frowned by the actions of me and you felt that accepting Lowenia was a mistake that you did.
So, my only demand is that Chandril be a nominated Parliament seat and also I have decided to resign from PPV and join the NPC.

He is the one who had suggested the idea of Ambassadors for Vishwamitra.
He was reinstated as the Administrator of the Special Administrative Territory of Chandril[9] on 1st January 2021.
Chandrachur Basu sang a rendition of the National Anthem of the State of Vishwamitra which was praised by His Majesty, Dhrubajyoti Roy.
In Australis
Chandrachur Basu applied for Australissian citizenship and was given Australissian citizenship in Amicitia state. He founded the Liberal Party of Australis due to the recent elections which later merged with the Conservative Party. He contested from Amicitia from the Conservative Party. He won the seat and is now a Member of Parliament of Australis.
In Snagov
Chandrachur Basu joined Snagov and was given Snagovian citizenship in the South Gruiu oblast. On 5 February 2021, his citizenship was revoked.
In Aswington
Chandrachur Basu applied for Aswingtonian citizenship. He voted in the recent elections. He is now the head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance
