The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Northern Ireland is the Chief Executive Body of the Communist Party of Northern Ireland it was first elected in August of 2020 and a new Central Committee is due to be elected in an October Party Congress. The Central Committee is lead by a Chairman that will become the role of First Secretary at the Party Congress.

First Central Committee

The First Central Committee consists of one person, Sean Dagda, it's membership was halved after it's over member left.

Powers

According to its Programme, the Central Committee has these powers

  1. Appoint various Marshals of the Party
  2. Create and Distribute orders and medals on the nomination by a commanding officer of a solider or at its own initiative to Marshals of the Party.
  3. Elect a Chair of the Central Committee whenever they die, are impeached or resign.
  4. Impeach the Chair of the Central Committee
  5. Create new party organs to be approved by the Congress and added to the Programme.
  6. Call for an extraordinary session of the Congress
