The Birchist Party of Esse was founded by Otto Gillespie Birch on the 13 July 2020 in the Uber-Essian Union as a big tent political party for the Signoria of Esse. The party only ever had one member, however it held the position of Gonfaloniere for two terms between September 2020 to February 2021 and held the positions of Podestá of San Bernardo and Outpost of Grubhub from 13 July 2020 until Otto Gillespie Birch's departure from the nation.
