The title track, 'Beautiful Kaoss', is a pun on the phrase 'beautiful chaos' and is said to be a blend of 1970s Tangerine Dream and the modern New Age group Enigma. 'Crossing Meltham Moor Baht 'mind' (Crossing Meltham Moor without a mind) is a trance-based piece influenced by Harwood's youth.
