Bear the Dog, was born sometime in 2003, and had to be put down on August 25, 2018. He was born in the Chicagoland area, and was originally adopted by abusive owners. Later sometime in the mid 2000s, the cousin of Jack Morris adopted the dog. Because of his abusive owners, for a few years he would not want to go near hispanic males. In 2014, president Morris officially titled the dog the Official Mascot of Kapreburg (at the time Zekia). In 2015, Bear went deaf. In 2017, he went blind. Also in 2017, a tumor was found on his back. In early 2018, he was diagnosed with dementia. On August 25, 2018, Bear was officially put down because of his conditions.
