|Imperial Seal of Berin|
|Armiger||Tarik of Kârjasary, as Maester of the Order of the Baphomet|
|Crest||Sigil of Baphomet|
|Motto||VEPIN - POTENS ET VACILLENT|
The Imperial Seal of Berin also known as the Baphomet Seal is the official seal of the Sabioveronese Order of the Baphomet, originally representing the Empire of Berin. It shows a Sigil of Baphomet. The Baphomet is a pagan deity and figure of Satanism and occultism. It was adopted by the Berinese Monarchy not because of its association with Satanism, but for its symbolism as an opposite to the pentagram, the symbol of life and purity. It represents not the spiritual self, but the physical self, the carnal desire and the question of the humans.
In the top of the seal, the inscription VEPIN can be found. Vepin is a Latinized hybrid of the name Berin based in the Greek alphabet. In theory, it is supposed to be Greek, but the Greek Beta was replaced with a Latin V, as accord with the Greek pronunciation of the B in Berin. The lower part of the seal includes the motto Potens et Vacillent, Latin for "Powerful and Unreliable".
The seal has belonged to the Order of the Baphomet since the creation of the Order and has remained its symbol even after the fall of the Berinese Empire. Now it's represented in several Sabioveronese symbols, such as the national Coat of Arms and the Royal Arms.
