Awards and decorations of Gapla
The Awards and decorations of Gapla are a system in which a variety of government awards, orders, and decorations, usually controlled by the Royal Branch, are conferred onto citizens (and rarely non-citizens) of the Federated States of Gapla. Awardees can choose to accept or decline the award, and the Crown Prince has the power to revoke all awards except for SCG (which the President has the power to revoke).
Many awards come with ribbons and medals as a commemorative symbols of belonging to an order, which are sometimes given by the government for free to the awardee, although usually the awardee needs to purchase these from the government or, unofficially, a third-party company.

History
Awards have been used to honor Gaplan citizens, the first of which was the HRFSG (Heroes of the Revolution of the Federated States of Gapla) founded in late 2019 to honor the heroes of the Gaplan revolution, an important historical event in which the Gaplans defeated Michael Hubbard.
Since then, a variety of honors and orders have been created and been removed. Most of the medals and ribbon bars were created by Nicolas Wiedemann.
