The Autonomous Federal System is a political system adopted by the UMEC as a way to achieve the Great Unification of Micronations. It is a system between a federation and a union.

How it operates

The System uses four types of administrative regions: Province, normal State, Sub-State, and Autonomous District. The types are distinguished by how much rights the region has.

Province

The Province is the region with the most restricted rights. It is similar to 'Do' in South Korea. It can adopt its own ordinance, and has its own administrative, legislative, and judicial organs. However, it does not have the power to command the military.

State

Similar to US states, the State has its own military.

Sub-State

The Sub-State has a lot of freedom; it has military power, can engage in individual diplomatic relationships with other micronations under assent of the Federal Government, and still send a representative to AAA(Administration Arbitration Agency).

Autonomous District

This is similar to member countries in the EU. The countries that join the federation as this kind of region has only three restrictions: same currency as the federation, same constitution, and restriction of diplomatic relationships with only countries chosen by the federal government.
