The Army of the Kingdom of Karnewitz, officially the Army of the Grand Crown of Karnewitz and its Realms and Duchies, is the ground defense force of the Kingdom of Karnewitz. Its primary purpose is to defend the Karnite mainland along with its exclaves, to guarantee the security of the country, to defend the citizens, King of the country, and to protect its interests abroad. The army is raised from every part of the Kingdom, with each area providing troops.
Organization
The Karnite Army is organized into Regiments, with each Duchy and Territory being required to provide at least one Regiment to the Army. The Regiments from the central Kingdom of the Two Pragues form the Royal Guard, and are considered 'Royal" Regiments, and are typically the best in the Army, while Regiments from other Duchies are considered "line" Regiments. Currently, the 1st Royal Karnite Rifles is the only standing Royal Regiment, While the 1st Regiment of the Line was recently raised in the Duchy of Arealand. The 1st Rifles, though technically an infantry unit, are primarily deployed as light artillery gunners.
