Apollian Royal Family

The Apollain Royal Family is the group of close relatives of the Monarch of the Kingdom of Apollo. The term is also commonly applied to the same group of people as the relations of the Monarch in his or her role as Sovereign of Kingdom of Apollo. Members of the Royal Family belong to, or are married into, the House of Mulberry, since 1978, when Edward I created it.

Royal Titles & Styles

Only the Monarch can grant Royal titles and styles which are stated in the Royal Titles Act 1900.

His/Her Majesty The King/The Queen Only the Monarch has this title and style.

His/Her Royal Highness The King/The Queen - Only the Consort has this title and style.

His/Her Royal Highness The King Dowager/The Queen Dowager - Only widower or widow of a deceased Monarch has this title and style.

His/Her Royal Highness The Prince/The Princess - Only the Monarch's legitimate children and legitimate grandchildren has the title and style. Upon marriage the Prince/Princess's Consort has the title The Prince/Princess name of spouse as their married right. Sons & daughters of Prince/Princess holds no surname they use the name of the area over which their parents holds title.

His/Her Royal Highness The Duke/The Duchess - Only legitimate Members of the Royal Family are entitled to receive Dukedoms. The Monarch can grant members of the Royal Family a dukedom upon marriage. Duke and Duchess is entitle to retain the title Prince/Princess as the children of the Monarch. On rare occasions the Monarch can grant a title to non Royalty. The first and so far the only time this happened when Reginald I granted the title The Duke of Luna to the father of The Duke of Luna, Consort of Ann I.

His/Her Royal Highness The Lord/The Lady - Only the Monarch's great grandchildren has the title and style. Sons & daughters of Prince/Princess (Grandchildren) holds no surname they use the name of the area over which their parents holds title. Upon marriage The Lord/The Lady's spouse is entitled to have the title The Lord/The Lady with the style His/Her Royal Highness but only if the Monarch grants the title.

His/Her Highness The Lord/The Lady Only illegitimate Members of the Royal Family are entitled to have the title and the style.

Royal House of Mulberry

The current Royal House of Apollo is the House of Mulberry, which was created by Royal Proclamation in 1978 by Edward I. It is a branch of the House of Lynn. The current Head is Ann I.

The Royal House titles are King/Queen of Apollo, Prince/Princess of Apollo, Duke/Duchess of Luna, Duke/Duchess of Hurst, Duke/Duchess of Moor and Duke/Duchess of Warren.

Royal House of Lynn

The House of Lynn was the first Royal House of Apollo, the first head was Reginald I. The HM Government passed the Royal House Act 1900 to establish Royal Houses of Apollo. It states that to establish a new Royal House the Monarch should use Royal Proclmation. The Royal House of Lynn ended in 1978 when Edward I created the Royal House of Mulberry by Royal Proclamation.
