Ann I (Ann Hyacinth Charlotte; born 1 November 1956), OS, is the queen regnant of the Kingdom of Apollo.

Early life

Ann was the first child of Prince Edward, Duke of Lynn (later King Edward I), and his wife Mary. Her father was the only child of King Reginald I and Queen Rose, and her mother was the youngest daugther of King Clem I of Neptune and Queen Kitty. She was born on 1st November 1956 at the Royal Leto Hospital in Luna. Five days after Ann was born, she was named Ann Hyacinth Charlotte at her naming ceremony in the Yellow Drawing Room at Royal Palace of Canon. Members of the Royal Family attended the Ceremony including Ann's uncle Prince John and her maternal grandparents Clem I and Queen Kitty. As a granddaugther of the Monarch, Ann's full style at birth was Her Royal Highness Ann of Lynn. Reginald I granted Ann membership to the Most Noble Order of the Royal House of Lynn to officially recognise Ann's membership to the Royal House. Ann's only sibling was Prince Leonardo, born in 1962.

Ann was educated at Royal Orion College in Luna instead of being educated at home by a governess. She studied arts, history and languages, she is fluent in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Ann with her family lived at Royal Palace of Canon. Ann and her brother Prince Leonardo attented Royal State Visits with their parents. On 1st January 1960 Ann with the Royal Family attented Reginald I's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations and she received HM The King Reginald I Diamond Jubilee Medal. Ten years later Reginald I celebrated his Palatinum Jubilee, 70 years on the Throne. Along with the Royal Family, Ann celebrated the Kings milestone and received HM The King Reginald I Platinum Jubilee Medal. On her 20th birthday Ann was appointed by her grandfather an Ambassador of State. Her first solo Royal Engagement was visit children at Royal Orion College. Her grandfather granted Ann membership to the Most Noble Order of the Star.

Reginald I's health declined during 1978, on 16th August the King died at the Royal Residence of Emanuel Manor. Her father became the King and she became the Heir Apparent with the style Her Royal Highness The Princess Ann. When Ann's father Edward I succeeded to the Throne he created the new Royal House of Mulberry and a new Royal House Order. All Members of the Royal Family including Ann were granted Membership to the Most Noble Order of the Royal House of Mulberry. On her father's succession Ann became the Princess of the Most Noble Order of the Star as the Heir Apparent and the Princess of the Most Noble Order of the Sky and Universe as the eldest daughter of the Monarch.

Marriage

Ann met her future husband Lord Louis of Luna at the Royal Orion College where they studied history together. Lord Louis parents was Maximilian, Duke of Luna and Penelope, Duchess of Luna. Maximilian, Duke of Luna was a Member of HM The Royal Council and he served as Equerry to Reginald I and Edward I. He was invested as a Member of the Most Noble Order of the Star. Penelope, Duchess of Luna was a Lady-in-Waiting to Queen Mary. Ann got engaged to Louis, Duke of Luna in the autumn of 1980. Her father Edward I granted Royal Consent to the marriage. Princess Ann married to Louis on 1st April 1981 in Royal St Ives Hall. The couple have two children, Prince Paul, born 1983 and Princess Gabrielle, born 1985.

Succession

At birth, she was the second in line to the Throne of the Kingdom of Apollo. Ann became the Heir Apparent when her grandfather died in 1978. Princess Ann became Queen of the Kingdom of Apollo upon the death of her father, Edward I in 1993. She was proclamed sovereign of Apollo. The Coronation Day for Ann I was on 1st June 1993. The Coronation took place in the Royal St Ives Hall in Luna. The Master of Ceremonies conducted the ceremory and crowned The Queen and her husband.   

Ann I is in the line to the throne of the Kingdom of Neptune through her mother Queen Mary as she was the daughter of Clem I and Queen Kitty of the Kingdom of Neptune.

As a grandchild of a Monarch, Princess Ann has no surname, she used the name of the area over which her parents held title, i.e. Lynn. When her father became HM The King, Princess Ann held the title of an Apollian Princess, with the style Her Royal Highness, her full style being Her Royal Highness The Princess Ann of the Kingdom of Apollo. On her wedding day on 1st April 1981 the title The Duchess of Luna were affixed after her Royal titles. When she ascended the throne on 18th May 1993 she became HM The Queen.
