The Alenshkan People’s Party (German: Alenshkische Volkspartei), was a conservative political party in Alenshka. The party has been dominant in Alenshkan government since its foundation, and is currently lead by Prime Minister Stephen Freayth. From its foundation in 2018 until early 2020 it was the state branch of Populares, the largest federal party in the Abeldane Empire. Throughout its history the party was the dominant political force in Alenshka. It’s downfall came during the Concordiagate scandal, when it was revealed its leader, Stephen Freayth had used the party’s membership as a mode of electoral rigging. Freayth and most of the formal party membership subsequently had their citizenships stripped, and the party was formally dissolved by the Reichswahlkommission on 4 August 2020.
