Aidynism (Aidynist Arabic script: ايدنيسم), also known as the Church of Aidyn, and known in Aidynist scripture as the Four Pillars of Aidyn, is a monotheistic religion based around a deity named Aidyn, and one prophet; His Holiness, Aidyn Bratt,]. It is one of the world's largest micronational religions, with 67 followers as of 2021. It is also accepted in the Federal Republic of Eurastoria.
Etymology
The religion is named after Aidyn Bratt, President of the Federal Republic of Eurastoria.
Scripture
According to the Aidynist Website "The Aidynist Scripture is the highest religious text in Aidynism". On 16 April 2021, Aidyn Dei Sanctus est, Pope of Aidynism, announced that another Scripture would be "revealed in the coming days". This was revealed as the Testaments of Aidyn on 14 April. A part of the Testaments of Aidyn, formally known as the First Book and Second Testament of Aidyn and informally known as the Book of Coom, was released on 28 October.
History
In 2021, members of parliament voted to make Aidyn the official deity of the FRE; however, it met opposition from the other members. As such, they created their own church to spread the word of Aidyn, known as the United Aidynist Church. In 2021, the Church saw explosive growth in membership, with 67 members joining between March and April.
Structure
The structure of Aidynism is episcopal, with a bishop overseeing a diocese and reporting to the Pope.
