The Administrator of Chandril, more formally the Administrator of the Special Administrative Region of Chandril (Hindi: चंद्रिल विशेष प्रशासनिक क्षेत्र के प्रशासक, Bengali: চন্দ্রিল বিশেষ প্রশাসনিক অঞ্চলের প্রশাসক, French: Administrateur de la Région administrative spéciale de Chandril) was the representative of the Vishwamitran crown and the head of government in Chandril between 2020 and 2021. The position of the administrator was created as a stipulated provision of the Treaty of Chandril who marked the cessation of the Republic of Lowenia into Vishwamitra as the special administrative region of Chandril. The position existed from the treaty coming into force on 19 September 2020 and until the expulsion of Chandril from the federation on 6 February 2021.
History
The position of the administrator came into existence as a binding provision of the Treaty of Chandril signed between the governments of Vishwamitra and Lowenia which merged the latter nation into Vishwamitra as a special administrative region. As an article of the treaty, the administrator was to act as the chief representative of the Rashtradhyaksh and the Government of Vishwamitra in Chandril and was to serve as the chief executive of the territory. The administrator was accorded a status after the Prime Minister of Vishwamitra in the order of precedence and also served as a member of the privy council.
Chandrachur Basu was the first person to be appointed as the administrator on 19 October 2020 and served in office till his dishonourable removal on 5 February 2021 for actions against the state and subsequently declaration as a persona non grata. He was also suspended from his duties between 15 November 2020 and 1 January 2021. During the period of his suspension, sovereign's rule was imposed in the territory. The position was abolished following the expulsion of Chandril on 6 February 2021 as an aftermath of developments which led to the Fall of Chandril.
Powers and functions
The administrator was the chief representative of the Rashtradhyaksh and the Government of Vishwamitra in Chandril and served as the chief executive of the territory. The administrator was responsible for the administrative and other day-to-day affairs of the territory. The administrator also handled the territory's internal affairs, governance, general administration, art, culture, environment, etc and performed their functions in consultation with the Rashtradhyaksh.
The administrator was also the ex-officio commander and a knight of the Order of Chandril.
Inabilities of the administrator
The administrator was barred by law to be a member of the Conference of Rulers and also from entering the federal politics. The administrator was also barred from contesting any election to any position within the nation.

| Chandrachur Basu, the President of the Republic of Lowenia became the first administrator of Chandril after the merger of Lowenia into Vishwamitra as the special administrative region of Chandril. Along with his appointment as the administrator, he was also inducted into the privy council. In his initial days as administrator, he introduced several legislations which were refused to be implemented by the Sovereign who considered all the acts to be "fantasy" and "comical". As a result of unprofessional behaviour, he was suspended from his position on 15 November 2020. | ||||||

| Chandrachur Basu was re-instated as the administrator of Chandril and that of his membership in the privy council on 1 January 2021 and was ennobled as the "Count of Calton" on 11 January 2021. On 5 February 2021, he was expelled from the nation and declared a persona non grata for his actions against the nation. | ||||||
