According to the constitution of the archduchy the prime minister remained in office for 5 months, but appointed ministers and their deputy every month, this meant that the prime minister could change ministers and the DPM during their term. Carpentieri resigned on 19 October 2019 and his position was taken by Ezel, as Deputy Prime Minister. The government dissolved with the creation of the Second Republic.
