The 2nd Revolutionary Guard is a regiment of the Ausverian Volksarmee. It is an infantry regiment well-adapted to the local environment yet serves a mostly symbolic role. The unit occasionally seeks out new land for Ausverian territorial claims. It is also seen as a successor to the Ausverian Revolutionary Guard.

Command and Structure

The 2nd Revolutionary Guard is headed by General Konstantin Antonovsky. It follows the standard structure of the Ausverian Volksarmee.

Equipment

Uniforms

The uniforms of the 2nd Revolutionary Guard are based on each season, with there currently being a Summer, and Winter Combat Uniform, as well as a Dress Uniform.

Winter Uniform

The Winter Uniform is designed to keep personnel warm, and thus the base of the uniform contains an overcoat and wool trousers. Permitted boots are Jackboots or boots used in the Summer with thick socks. Under the Overcoat, a base field shirt is worn, then a sweater. Webbing stays the same as in the Summer uniform. On the head, a wool Field cap, Helmet, or miscellaneous winter headwear is permitted, and a neck toque is worn.

Dress/Parade Uniform

The Formal Uniform of the 2nd Revolutionary Guard is that of the rest of the Landwehr for Enlisted Personnel, but different for Officers. Officers wear WWII-era Tropical Naval Aviator Uniforms.

Summer Uniform

Summer Uniforms are unstandardized and are the bare minimum of what would be needed. Shorts and lightweight fabrics are recommended. During the Summer months the uniform is generally disregarded.

Wz.23 Slavia Uniform

The wz.23 uniform is based off of medieval Eastern European uniforms and clothing while combining them with modern elements. Medieval footwear can be used, but 20th century Jackboots are also worn. Medieval-styled headwear is preferred, but the Polish wz.67 or wz.31 is also permitted with wz.23 uniforms. For officers, a maciejówka is allowed. This uniform is for ceremonial purposes only.

Qualifications

Driving

The Driving certification is for members who pass a standard Ausverian Driving Exam.

Artillery

Artillery certifications are given to those in the 2nd Revolutionary Guard who are deemed capable of operating basic artillery.

Climbing Equipment

While professional climbing equipment is rarely used or needed, the Climbing Equipment certification clarifies that an individual has satisfactory climbing skills.

Operations

Exploration

The 2nd Revolutionary Guard is responsible for all Ausverian exploration in the area around Gau Nowa Warszawa. For this reason, the Gau gains a fair amount of territory occasionally.

Unit Awards

Pioneer Ribbon

The Pioneer Ribbon is an all-black ribbon awarded to those who display recognizable service. There is one current recipient.
