The 2012/13 Micronational Chess Championship is the second Micronational chess championship and the first organized by the new Micronational Chess Federation. The tournament will be based on the internet but will be organized by the New Nevada Chess Federation who came up with the original idea of a 2012/13 tournament. The idea was introduced to the Microwiki community by MCF President Leon Williamson and it received mainly a positive response. 16 players signed up to participate.
