User abusing on Ebenthal's main article

Hello, Zarel. Here I am again. As you are the only administrator I have had contact here so far, I'd like to ask you to oversee over a situation. User:Cookieman1.1.1. has three times so far deliberately added the "dubious tag" to Ebenthal's main article with no further talk or discussion in the matter, simply by stating that one photo in use in the past wasn't truthful to the micronation, and indeed, it wasn't, I added it in order to test the article's color layout as I wanted a dark-colored photo. I took down the tag because tags are meant to be added in virtue of a discussion, and there's none. He did it again saying I can't prove the photos. Well, many of the article's photos deliberately states that they are illustrations.

  • The photo of the Castle of Ebenthal in Austria saying that the country was named after it.
  • The photo of a room at the Quintadinha Palace in Petrópolis, saying the place was chosen to held the presential summit of the Conference of Santiago (it is a free place open to public)
  • The photo on the military section of the CAMPSEG company, which the Ebenthali State unilaterally consider as providers of soldiers (as the company is presently hired to protect two farms which compose Ebenthali's territory.
  • The photo of the Court Room of the Tribune of Truth, saying it is located at the UNESA, the college I attend (the room has free acess and we use it when we can).
  • The photos of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Copastar Hospital, saying they are the college and hospital most attended by Ebenthalis.

Etc, etc, etc. Again, he says I can't prove it. Well, how would I? What does he wants, a copy of the contract between my great-aunt and the CAMPSEG security company proving they work for my family, a certificate by the UNESA proving I can use their rooms, physicians receipts proving my family and some friends frequent the Copastar Hospital, my bachelor certificate at the Federal University, my signature in a solar panel proving they're in my family's property? This is utterly absurd. And I'd like to add, he requires proof, but could he prove Free Socialist State of Paloma's photos, for example I shall I tag him with no talks on my own? Anyway, I'm really sorry to bother your with this, but I hope something can be done for him to stop simply messing with my article for no reason. Thank you in advance. Arthur Brum (talk) 04:50, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

I thank you for giving it attention on talking to cookieman. He has added the tag again and started a discussion on talk page. I may be new here but I have been editing on Wikipedia since 2011, one single person can't simply doubt a thing and add tag to an article, much less when the doubt is based on "you can't prove". He said he has taken this to adminship, well, so far no admin has contacted me, and it has been days since he has adding this damn tag on my article. Anyway, the Talk:Ebenthal is going on now, can I ask you to give this some attention and end this annoying non-sense of his part? Both of us, he and me, have already spoken for our sides, and I'm afraid things will be just this way if I didn't warn some admin. Again, I'm sorry to bother you with this, but you are so far the only admin I have had contact here. Arthur Brum (talk) 22:19, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

You're locking a page down allowing a link that violates the privacy of a community member to stay. I'm filing a complaint to Jonathan regarding your behavior. Yaroslav (talk) 03:08, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Just out of curiosity are you going to call the cops and file lawsuits because you're upset about it? Feedback appreciated

I recently wrote an article that I hope to raise to GA status one day. Judging by some other city articles that have received GA status, I am unsure whether this one will qualify. My questions to you are, as an experienced wiki editor and administrator, is this article worthy of GA status, and if not, what can be improved upon? addison (talk) 02:42, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

@AgentBro: The article is pretty short, especially the history section, though the geography section is pretty good but it can be expanded slightly, such as more detail on the flora and fauna if possible. The part on the Columbia River Gorge area and its fishing industry exports and windsurfing is really fascinating and I feel like it can be expanded a bit as well, like what fish live at the river and more detail on the industry. The lead section contains miscellaneous statements (such as the elevation), and could summarise the article a bit more perhaps if possible. Government and politics is proficient and an ideal example for what the rest of the article should look like. Furthermore, the article certainly has enough images. Also, ideally, an article should not cite other MicroWiki articles. Hope this helps :3 I can probably help with editing the article tomorrow. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits | full) 05:19, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Hey, I wanted to say thanks for adding the source, after I added the "by whom" template. I realize that it probably would have happened without me, but I'm glad that the wiki process occured, and that the link was added. Thanks!

Thank you for adding it!! Not enough users utilise the templates, like "unreliable source?" or "disputed", and they instead just remove the whole sentence, which is counter-productive. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits | full) 14:43, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

hey moron

File:Flag of Ponderosa Hills (Pantone).svg was being used on a userpage. It is not worthy of deletion in any sense.

Flag of Wendatia.svg jonas | talk 00:50, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

@WeaponizingArchitecture: "moron" is unnecessary, un-encyclopaedic and highly unprofessional; as also is the text "never use this flag lol, I just uploaded this for fun". Files are encyclopaedic pages just as articles; you should change the text regardless to be fit for an encyclopaedia, as you would for any article in the mainspace. I would also advise you remove your weasel words from this wiki in order to keep a professional and clean environment within the MicroWiki community, as we have no place for jokes, random insults nor trolls such as yourself. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 01:31, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

The file was not used when I marked it for deletion. And that is what I said, but I do not know what to change it too or what the file is actually for, so I just asked WeaponizingArchitecture to essentially make it more formal, but I have a feeling he will not comply, so, seeing as you are using the file, may I kindly ask you to do so?. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 01:59, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
"Zed stop adding [redacted] emotes. Ok, a ban it is" - Andrew Creed This isn't wikipedia man, this is a bunch of teenagers making fake nations. "unprofessional" is irrelevant. Also, no jokes! thats fun! Whatever. Flag of Wendatia.svg jonas | talk 01:50, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
This is not MicroWiki@Discord and my actions there (nor anywhere else for that matter) have absolutely nothing to do with; however harassment is a ban-worthy offence over here on MicroWiki, which you are committing sir. Furthermore, MicroWiki does in fact have rules on professionalism, so it is thus relevant here. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 01:53, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
Wazowski stare.jpg then explain the multiple joke pages on the wiki. Again, this is NOT WIKIPEDIA. All you do is mark random pages for deletion to artificially boost your edit count. I swear, you aren't contributing anything at this point. You might as well go mark Futbol and GANGSTA REPUBLIC for deletion because it's "not professional". Also, this isn't harassment. Im not constantly going after you on a day to day basis. This was the first time in months that we actually spoke. Flag of Wendatia.svg jonas | talk 05:38, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Stop getting your knickers in a twist because you are upset that I erroneously marked a file for deletion that was unused at that time. Grow up and get over it and stop harassing me. and in any case those articles are apart of MicroWiki:What not to do ran by administrator Adam Belcher which is why they are allowed to remain Any further messages will be removed as this is not even remotely related to any MicroWiki enquires and I have no time for this rambling. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 13:47, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

List of deceased micronationalists

The article in question was deleted after consultation with the other admins, it was deemed insensitive and essentially impractical as every single micronationalist is going to die eventually and it wouldn't be feasible to list every single micronationalist who ever existed. Furthermore, it went into unnecessary detail about the cause of death for several micronationalists, something which is completely insensitive and disrespectful to their families. Please do not recreate a page that an administrator has deleted, it doesn't need to be redirected to a category. Please just leave it alone. Andrew (talk) 02:11, 3 April 2021 (UTC)

@Andrew: Apologies, I erroneously created it whilst trying to leave a message on its talk page; specifically, I brought to attention that similar lists of deceased micronationalists exist on decade articles and years in the MicroWiki community (which includes cause of death), which you may want to look into if you have a similar opinion. In any case, may I add that this is an encyclopaedia and not an obituary site, and the cause of death is one of the basic things of information (such as birthdate or birthplace) that you might find. But, as it was decided upon per administration decision, for those specific articles I would insist that instead of removing the sections all together or all causes of death for everyone, we have the immediate family of the individual decide whether or not to have the cause of death stated - this can also be easily found out via the obituary sites or family announcements of death (and we would ignore news articles if they state the cause of death); and if the cause of death is stated on the wiki but not on the aforementioned sites, we thus remove it. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 02:30, 3 April 2021 (UTC)

@Incipious: Is there a reason it cannot be discussed on here? Also please do not revert it, you must make an argument against it before it is either removed or chosen to remain. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 20:51, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
@Z Luna Skye: I have been recently trying to wipe old images and any titles that may pop up in search engines if you search up my name. I felt this would be more convenient to discuss over discord. This image seems to pop up whenever you look up my handle (incipious) and I am trying to remove all connections to micronations so it doesn't bother me in the future dare it come up. I would be happy to discuss more over discord, but this is my explanation.
As per microwiki:Pseudonyms, you cannot erase all evidence if your existence but you can adopt a wiki-wide pseudonym and erase all uses of your real name, which I would recommend in this case. Search engines are not able to look up text from images so it will be fine if the image remains though. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 03:05, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
Also FYI you should probably ask a technical administrator to change your username as well. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 03:08, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
@Z Luna Skye: Believe it or not you'd be surprised. If you look up "i-s" and scroll thru images u will see the image that I tried to erase, despite the caption not containing any references to my name. Yes, Google algorithms actually identify text in images, which also surprised me at first. I will surely get my name changed but in the meantime also remove the image because I plan on using my pseudonym for the late future and do not intend to change it anytime soon. So for the meantime I want to wipe all references to my micronation affiliation. I don't see a need to use the example listed on the page as for it is arbitrary and not a necessity, but also acts as a gateway to identify my micronational affiliation.
I have just uploaded a censored version of the image that omits your username. In the meantime, have you a pseudonym yet that I could use? Also, I will redact your name on this talk page once you change your username. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 15:27, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
Appreciate it, thanks. @Z Luna Skye: Also, my bad. Didn't see you had changed it at first. Thanks

Speedy Deletion

@Z Luna Skye,

The following is a list of pages that I nominated for speedy deletion about a month ago:

It would be much appreciated if you could look through it, as I don't know who is in charge of approving these nominations.

Thanks!!! (talk) 21:16, 8 April 2021 (UTC) This is a wiki, we cannot just delete articles without reason. Is there a reason you want them all deleted? And is it urgent? ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 21:20, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
@Z Luna Skye: All of these pages contain nothing but the word "delete". It appears to me that the creator of these pages wanted for some reason for them to be deleted. According to the Criteria for speedy deletion, a page can be deleted if it is "Patent nonsense and gibberish pages that contain no meaningful content." (talk) 21:29, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

TFG-TCC-Fans of Conway Way deletion proposal

I proposal deletion for the following articles:

None of these articles are really notable enough to have their own articles, literally anyone can create their own group-chat on Discord (I could do so right now and make an article on it!). For instance, TOES has a lot of coverage from third-party micronational sources and the TOES-Almendria War was immensely popular, and the Micropolitan Club and Lounge has a long history with lots of coverage. But neither TFG, TCC or Conway Way have really done anything worthy of having their own article.

And yes, I know this is not Wikipedia, and you could say that they are not hurting anyone by being up, but MicroWiki does not need several articles that are literally just Discord group-chats - no Discord servers or Skype chatrooms have their own articles. At the least, one could create an article titled "list of micronational social clubs", if one really wanted for the above articles.

Even though we may allow any micronation to remain regardless of its actual notability (and rightfully so), that does not indicate that MicroWiki should have articles on absolutely everything; it would encourage other Discord users and become flooded with several tons of articles that are just small Discord group-chats, and, following suite of the above articles, they would all be allowed to remain as well, regardless of if the group-chat in question had only a single member or lasted for a second. Now, before you get mad (please, this is not personal or targeted at anyone personally) or spam "oppose" only because you are a member of one of the above groups (I see you -_-) "PLEASE" consider what I said, as well as redirecting them into an article called "list of micronational social clubs". Feel free to ask any questions! Though I do plan on heading to bed soon... ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 04:30, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

(also I did this on my talk page instead of on each page individually for convenience)

@Liammunroe: Please explain why you think that way. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 04:50, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
@Z Luna Skye: Why? There are thousands of stubbed articles on this wiki that you could edit but you somehow feel the urge to delete the pages for our social clubs? Outrageous. We're tryna have fun and we don't need you to rain on our parade. This is not Wikipedia. Nobody gives a hoot unless it's blatant trolling. I could go make a page called The Piss War and I'm sure no one would care as long as if It was given some effort and time behind it. Zarel, have you really run out of things to do? Are you salty you got kicked out of TFG? Come on man... This is a sad excuse of a reason for deletion. User:Niko3818 vetoed this so I think this is an appropriate time to end this issue. Thanks a lot. Atiera flag.svg] Liam Munroe  My Talk Page  Contribs  04:57, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Everything I said are valid, argumentative reasons that you seem to take far too personally. "lol no" and requesting that I "touch grass" (?????) are not good reasons (or any reasons, for that matter) against my genuine points and concerns. You say MicroWiki has a lot of stub articles? Well, we do not need more useless articles about literal group-chats. If everybody made their own (which people seem to be doing), MicroWiki would be knees-deep in such useless articles! Please read what I say instead of automatically assuming an article deletion is a personal attack, because it is not. This is just business ): Why do we actually need all these, and could they not be added to a list for the subject? And, at the end of the day, MicroWiki is still an encyclopædia with rules aftr-all. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 05:03, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
@Z Luna Skye: I literally see no logic in you choosing the pages of only three social clubs for deletion, despite there were a lot of articles which literally need to be deleted; you could have given time to those articles to be marked as delete or ask the admins to do so. I can definitely say that you did this in your own frustration of being kicked from TFG for the reason that you well know. You have made numerous pages, which are really stubby or useless. You call the TOES to be notable, well, the three social groups, TCC, TFG and Fans of Conway Way are also notable, just you don't feel these to be notable. Well, we can't really change your thoughts or notion. Just look at this article, List of news companies in New Eiffel, I don't think it is that notable or there was a need for a separate article to list them. Man, if you really don't have any work to do other than looking on your desktop or laptop on Microwiki and unnecessarily bother people by marking articles for deletion; better go out, wear a mask and spend time. This is totally very low that you need. (talk)
Not gonna lie I don't really see a point in the 50+ pages you made containing quotes just for a template on one userpage, or the magic 8 ball page you created, or the dice, or the yes/no page, or the page about a cartoon fox, etc. I don't sew a problem with having these three pages whilst we have at least 60 pages for the most trivial things - yes I know that I've made some useless pages (see Peter Griffin page) but seriously. Yes I understand that everyone creates GCs but if they become notable/large enough then why remove them? Aenopia flag.svgPeter Griffin.png Logan (Aenopia) Peter Griffin.png Terry Tibbs talk to me  Look at what I've done. Peter Griffin Dance.gif 11:05, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

None of these have any major news coverage therefore not making them notable, hell anyone can make a group chat but it isn't really relevant to make a MicroWiki page for. Isaiah (Chat) 11:44, 11 April 2021 (UTC) See, I told you that you would all get personally offended and make up baseless accusations just because your precious "articles" were proposed for deletion (you being a founder of one of the articles proposed for deletion). But insults are uncalled for! List of news companies in New Eiffel is a micronational list, plus several news companies in NE were not notable enough for their own articles were added to it instead (list of micronational social clubs wink wink), plus some of them have websites and ran for years. Literally anyone can make a random group-chat on Discord and create an article. Are we going to allow articles on Discord servers now? Or articles on Instagram or Twitter group DMs? Please explain to me how they are different. I genuinely believe they do not need articles. @Aenopia: That is my argument; Conway Way, TCC and TFG are just not really notable enough. Like I said, literally anyone can make a Discord group-chat, why should that be enough eligibility for its own article? Discord servers do not get there own article (but there is a list for them). As for those "60+ pages" (I actually have around 500 subpages, though most of them are articles which eventually got moved into the mainspace) those are all userpages and not mainspace articles in their own right (you can make as many useless userpages as you want, and in fact you have) - but those are completely different to the three above mentioned articles. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 12:27, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Look, most memes redirect to List of MicroWiki community memes, most Skype chat-rooms redirect to Micronational Skype rooms, and all Discord servers redirect to Micronational Discord servers. Why could the same not be done for these literal Discord group-chats "social clubs"? So far, all of your only arguments have been insults, bringing up completely unrelated things, or asking me to forget this and edit a different article. Come on guys, I have genuine concerns that I genuinely believe in, and none of you really prove that TFG, TCC or Conway Way do not deserve deletion or merging into a list. ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 12:43, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Its been vetoed, move on; you literally have contributed to so much useless information here that it's just hypocritical you want to do this. It seems like the others said that you are just doing this out of spite. Move on. --Cookieman1.1.1 (talk) 14:03, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
This is not out of spite at all. Did you not read literally anything I said here? I made several good points to consider. Clearly the only people taking this needlessly personally are you guys... as I just said, the only argument any of you guys have made is "idc so that automatically indicates the article should remain." ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 14:08, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Well, you did make "Sherk" which was to parody our three social clubs so it seems otherwise. Literally pointless other then you trying to prove a point that doesn't matter. You appear to be getting too big for your boots, its already been denied (for the third time counting we've brought this up) and please move on --Cookieman1.1.1 (talk) 14:44, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Zed's got a point. The wiki doesn't need to have an article on absolutely everything, certainly not for every Discord group. If there's already a list of Discord groups, then the information can be added there unless there's enough to really warrant a separate article. Austenasia (talk) 14:55, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

I cannot speak for TCC or Conway I am afraid. The Fun Gang page however should however remain: It is key to understanding of the events leading up to the formation of the Constantia Pact, the events pertaining to early 2021 in the Cupertino Alliance, and various other events in various sects of the community. The lack of an article would do a disservice, and result in either scattered incomprehensible information, or lead to information gaps altogether crucial to the understanding of notable events in the community. Sertor (Chat) 18:53, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
ah yes, we do take safeguarding issues very personally, Zarel. I agree heavily with Leon with his second point, I also agree with Sertor that the lack of articles in general are a disservice. I'll put my input here. Honestly, I agree with Zed. If an article is not meaningful, it shouldn't be on a wiki. A list of clubs page should be created instead of having a meaningless page about one small group/club. (talk)
It doesn't matter, merging them all together is a horrible idea which I'm sure majority of us can all agree with, so is deletion. Its already been vetoed, Zarel, if you are really gonna go this low you need a bloody grip, this is the most hypocritical proposal you have ever made. Leave it as is, none of this is bad for the wiki and it is informational. --Cookieman1.1.1 (talk) 21:50, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Jonathan agrees with me on this, as do several other users. A list would work well for all the reasons I listed above. Giving an article to every single group-chat that is even remotely related to micronationalism is a very bad idea. Can you imagine if we did the same for Discord servers? ★ ♥︎ Zed 。 (talk | edits) 21:53, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
