The New Santiago dollar is a currency recognized as legal tender in the New Santiago Special Administrative Region of the Grand Navārdian Commonwealth. It is used for a vast majority of internal transactions, while the United States dollar is used for international trade. The New Santiago dollar was invented and adopted by the regional administration during a coronavirus pandemic related quarantine, but was formally announced on 12 June 2020.
