The Southern Sun Empire
The Sun Republic's sister nation, founded 2017. The Southern Sun Empire is a de facto governing body that strives to acheive certain elements of Marxism within it's territorial claims. The most pressing of these elements is unilateral communism, which is hopes to be able to achieve by 2023. Akin to being Duskian, much like The Sun Republic, has had debates with unification of the northernly government. The Southern Sun Empire is separated from The Sun Republic by a mile long chain-link fence which has two official gates. Unification debates were most prominent in the 2019 Duskian Discussion, which pressed Sun Republic Presidents Leland Elliott and Maxwell Grife to draw a definite conclusion to the separation problem. As of 2021, The Southern Sun Empire remains inactive, and it's parking lot lies empty. No further government action has been instituted since December 2019.
