The Republic of Uniland or TRU is a Micronation founded on 15 May 2018 by President Jack Porter. It was founded for the purpose of creating a country that follows the political views of the president, these views include Social Democracy, Environmentalism and equality. The nation has seen massive development since it founding such as rapid economic growth as well as large modernisation efforts. Despite having a very small population the republic is determined to preserve its self and keep its ideals intact.
The Republic of Uniland is strictly secular country with a state atheism law prohibiting the practise of religion in public. The reason for the absence of religion is because the president and most of the population are atheists. Some of the population of the nation even claim that the lack of religion contributed to the republic's success.
The Republic is very environmentally contuse and has plans to cover a large part of the nation with trees and other plants, coal is also going to be phased out in 2025 and replaced with Renewable and Nuclear energy. The Nation has also banned items the are harmful to the environment such as plastic bags, incandescent light bulbs and coal burning fires. Banning these things has resulted in a cleaner and more healthy environment. The nation also harbours a vast diversity in species of insects and small mammals.
The Republic of Uniland has its own radio station known as Radio Uniland, while it is government run it spouts songs from the golden age of music and tells the public the truth about the world.
The Republic of Uniland has become extremely environmentally conscious in recent months and is taking a tough stance on climate change. The Department of Environmental Protection is working hard to radically reduce the Unilandian carbon emissions by 2025 at the latest.
The USDP is the Ruling and only legal political party in the republic and is responsible for running the government and the country.

Geography and climate
The Average temperature is 14 Degrees Celsius. The Republic of Uniland prioritises the environment over the economy and in late 2018 The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) was formed to combat the effects of climate change. The Department of Environmental Protection has been highly successful at combating climate change, coal energy is projected to be completely fazed out in 2025. When coal has been fazed out it will be replaced with renewable and Nuclear energy.
