Difference between revisions of "Liberal Party (Baránok)"

The party was registered as a political party on 24 March 2020. It was founded by [[T.L.]] and [[Imrich Kvajda]]. T.L. became President of the party. First big win for the party was election of T.L. as the head of [[Transitional State Council (Baránok)|Transitional State Council]]. Then, their candidate Kvajda won the [[Baranese presidential election, April 2020|presidential election on 3 April 2020]] and he had to leave the party as a [[President of Baránok|President]]. The party also won in parliamentary elections on 8 April 2020 with 3 seats in [[Federal Assembly of Baránok|Federal Assembly]]. They formed a coalition with [[DaC]] and T.L., the President of CDA, became the [[Prime Minister of Baránok]]. The party was shortly a member of [[Union of the Democratic Left]] coalition together with [[Republican Party (Baránok)|Republican Party]], and is currently in opposition in the [[Federal Assembly of Baránok|Federal Assembly]]. On 8 August 2020, it was renamed to the Liberal Party. On 3 December 2020, the party merged with the [[SDPB|Social Democrats]] into the [[DP|Democratic Party]].
