The Social Democratic Party, known by its acronym PSD is one of the three major Carpather parties. It is a social-democratic party on the centre-left of the political spectrum.

Being the third-largest party in the Regional Parliament of Carpathia, with 22 MPs out of 85, it is the junior coalition partner in a government with the Liberal Party of Carpathia. The party was founded on 30 December 2015.

The party is led by Gabriela Suha, which is the Deputy Prime Minister in the common government with the Liberals.
