Quebec (/k(w)ɪˈbɛk/ About this sound (Listen) ), more commonly known as the Republic of Quebec, was a micronation with an unitary presidential-for-life government composed of cities, towns, and states, and is a successor to the now defunct Catholique Socialist Republic. The republic is also the leader of Québécois Commonwealth.

The Republic of Québec was founded after former President of the Catholique Socialist Republic, Aidan McGrath wanted to reshape and reform the government itself due to lack of boosts in economy. The Constitution of Quebec was later published and involved the dissolution of the Catholique Socialist Republic.

The word Québec comes from the Canadian city with the same name, the definition of Quebec is an Algonquin word which means "where the river narrows", referring to the Canadian city where the Saint Lawrence River narrows to a cliff-lined gap.[1]

The first and current president-for-life, Aidan McGrath fully created the country's laws, principals and flag. Since 23 January 2019, The republic has been a Unitary presidential-for-life republic, after rebranding from its predecessor, the Catholique Socialist Republic.

One of the Most famous structures built is the Uniroyal Giant Tire. The tire was designed by the same company that made the iconic, "Empire State Building", Shreve, Lamb & Harmon. The tire first debuted at the 1964 New York World's Fair as the US Royal Giant Tire Ferris Wheel. The wheel carried over two million people, including prominent passengers such as Jacqueline Kennedy, Telly Savalas, and the Shah of Iran. After the fair it was relocated to Michigan on the side of I-94 and now currently sits in Québécois territory.

The Québécois Autobahn, is the federal controlled-access highway system in the Republic of Quebec. The official Québécois term is Autoroute Fédérale, which translates as "federal motorway". Québécois Autobahns have no federally mandated speed limit for some classes of vehicles. However, limits are posted and enforced in areas that are urbanised, substandard, accident-prone, or under construction. On speed-unrestricted stretches, an advisory speed limit of 130 kilometres per hour (81 mph) applies. While going faster is not illegal as such in the absence of a speed limit, it can cause an increased liability in the case of an accident; courts have ruled that an "ideal driver" who is exempt from absolute liability for "inevitable" tort under the law would not exceed. Quebec has only two Autobahns, A-75 and A-35. These Autobahns link the country together rapping around the nation. A common law is known that passing on the right is illegal, and it's also illegal to pass a vehicle on the right. You must move into a left lane in order to pass. (The only exception is when traffic is moving at a very slow rate of speed, such as during a traffic jam).
