The People’s Republic of Transquillas, or commonly known as Tranquillas, or as PRT is an autonomous and sovereign entity known to many people as a micronation. The Republic is situated within the heartland of Belfast, Northern Ireland and was founded on the 13 September 2014, by Bláithín Nic Aoidh.
Etymology
Tranquillas takes its name from "Mare Tranquillitatis".
