People's Defense Forces

The People's Defense Force (PDF) was the sole legal military organization of the Democratic People's Republic of Sandus. It provides defense of the nation to land, air and sea with its various components. It was established, officially, on May 23, 2010 by the order of the Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Guillaume Sœrgèl. It is the successor of the Defense Forces of Sandus, which were the armed services of the Barony of Sandus. It works with the Democratic Guard, which is the political armed force of the Citizens' Communist Party of Sandus.

The People's Defense Force is a de jure independent organization from the CCPS, though, as the CCPS is the sole legal political party of the DPRS, the People's Defense Force is under the de facto authority of the CCPS. It falls under the authority of the Ministry of Defense, as established on May 21, 2010, by the order of the Chairman. The People's Defense Force has its main offices in the Central Administrative District, in which the Central Defense Command (CDC) is located. The PDF is comprised of the Land Component (LC), the Naval Component (NC) and the Air Component (AC).

Central Defense Command

The Central Defense Command is the organizational command center of the PDF. From here, all operations are planned and formulated and orders are given. The CDC must, however, receive orders from the Central Committee or Chairman before issuing any orders. The Central Defense Command is located in the Central Administrative District.

Land Component

The Land Component of the People's Defense Force is tasked with Border defense, security of the State and People, and the protection of the Socialist Motherland. It is an instrument of the political vanguard of the state: the Revolutionary Council and the Citizens' Communist Party of Sandus. The organization of the Land Component, as well as with the other components of the PDF, is rather primitive due to the lack of size of the Defense Forces.

Symbols of the Land Component

The march of the Land Component is the Sacred War, also known as Get Up Huge Country.

The organization of the Naval Component, as well as with the other components of the PDF, is rather primitive due to the lack of size of the Defense Forces.
