Etymology
New Berlin is named after Berlin, the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany.
History
New Berlin was founded by Scottie I, one of the two Kings of Freshland, on 1 August 2018, and was derived from the colony of New Paris. Following the independence of New Paris and the start of the Fresh Civil War, New Berlin played a major role, assisting the Fresh Armed Forces in bombing New Paris.
