Minister responsible

The Ministry of Culture is the ministerial department responsible for Abelden's development of culture, ethical affairs and the creation of the national symbols of the Empire.

The ministry was established following a major reorganisation of the Reichsregierungskabinett and is one of the permanent ministries established under the Government Ministries and Offices Act. It was formed through a merger of the responsibilities of the former Ministry of Ethnical Affairs and Ministry of Education and Culture. The incumbent minister is Patrick Renwick, who took office on 24 December 2017.

Some of the responsibilities the ministry takes are:

  • To form national/federal holidays
  • To oversee the creation and choosing of national/federal symbols
  • To build up a distinctive culture for the Empire
