The MicroWiki sector, also known as the MicroWiki nations,[note 1] is an online sector of micronations based around the online encyclopaedia MicroWiki, along with MicroWiki@Discord since 2018 and the MicroWiki forums between 2014 and 2018. There has been a MicroWiki sector since Fabian Schneider founded MicroWiki in 2005. Since 2008, the sector has been closely associated with the MicroWiki community, a cluster of organisations, communication venues and individual micronationalists who are involved with the nations of the sector.

At various points in the sector's history, most or all of it was part of the Grand Unified Micronational (GUM). In 2010 and 2011, the Organisation of Active Micronations held a similar position of influence. At present, most nations in the sector are associated with either the GUM or the Cupertino Alliance.

  1. The nations of the MicroWiki sector are also sometimes called the MicroWiki community or MicroWiki Community, as in a community of nations. The term "MicroWiki community" is more commonly used, however, to refer collectively to the broad subculture of individual micronationalists associated with the sector, rather than just referring to the countries themselves.
