"Sollena" is an adaptation of the name of a city in Romania, Sulina. The nation's founder, King Sabin I, adopted this name because he "thought it sounds cool."
The Kingdom of Sollena declared its independence on 12 November 2017.
Sollena has adopted its first Constitution on 30 April 2018.
Sollena is an absolute monarchy, meaning that the ruling monarch has all the legislative, executive and juridical powers. Although the nation has a Constitution, the King's powers aren't limited at all, so Sollena is still considered an absolute monarchy. Sollena's legislature is called the "National Assembly". National Assembly meetings are made up of at least 1 member. National Assembly members are divided in 2 categories:
- The King, which makes the laws and oversees the other members; and
- The Advisors, which help the King make decisions.
Every citizen of Sollena can be a National Assembly member, but they will have to be advisors.
