The Workers' Republic of Helasia is a micronation based on the principles of Erustrovism, which means it does not seek independence. It acts only as a form of political activism.

History

Helasia is the evolution of the Democratic People's Republic of New Hellas (DPRNH). DPRNH was founded in April 2016 from students, and almost a year later it became part of Estan. In the year 2016-2017, it had a rich list of actions such as videos etc. Later, after the Estanian Political Crisis it became independent and Estan became dissolved. After the latest reforms which took place in October 20th 2018, the state was renamed to Workers' Republic of Helasia.

State Ideology

The official state ideology of New Hellas is Erustrovism. According to Erustrovism, the economy has to be Cetral-Planned and the state shall not act as a separatist movement, but as an ideologigal one. D. Erüstrov in his book "Development of the Social-Communist Progressive Community" talks about a "community of micronational character" and clarifies that "The idea of a Social-Communist Progressive Community of Micronational Character (or Erüstrovism as a short) is not another parody of Marxism-Leninism. It is the adaptation of actual Communism in the Micronational facts".

Economy

The New Hellenic economy is based on the Book-publishing industry, and the use of the Eliore, the national currency of Elasia.
