The Governor of Mervustan, officially the Governor of the Province of Mervustan is the head of state and government of the Province of Mervustan. The Governor leads the Cabinet, the executive of Mervustan. The Governorship was established on 19 September 2021, with Adam Flannery being appointed.
Role
The Governor is the most powerful provincial official in Mervustan. The Governor is assisted in his duties by his Lieutenant. The Governor is elected alongside the Lieutenant in a gubernatorial election. The Governor is the executive leader within Mervustan and is responsible for leading the cabinet, appointing its ministers, and promulgating provincial legislation proposed by the Legislative Assembly.
