The Florenian General Election of 2014, is an election for Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Florenia that is expected to take place between December 22 through 30, 2014. However, as of December 21, no candidate has announced their intention to stand. It is expected that the Democratic Liberal Party will put forth a candidate, likely the incumbent Prince Nathan, although neither the organization nor the Prime Minister has given any word regarding candidacy.
Although all Florenian citizens, regardless of their residency, have the right to vote, only residents of the Kingdom can stand for election. By Florenian law, Members of Parliament have the responsibility to organize polling stations for their constituents, and the Foreign Ministry is responsible for receiving and tallying votes from non-residential citizens. Ballots will most likely be cast online via the government's official website.
