History

2018-2019

In December 2018 There was a country called Postel. It was founded by Matyáš Bálek. In February 2019 it was formed into Erzikia. It united with South Erzikia (leader- David Jirsák) and North-East Erzikia (leader- Jan Divíšek). But then North-East Erzikia was kicked out of Erzikia because Matyáš and David got angry at Jan. Jan Švadlenka replaced him.

2020-2021, reforms

In late 2020 and early 2021, Matyáš Bálek decided to reform the micronation. He redesigned the flags and the coat of arms, bought physical versions of the flag of the Erzikian Union. On 7 December 2020 at 20:00, the Erzikian wikipage was created on micronations.wiki. On 10 January, Erzikia created its own website , the first referendum about the national anthem happened. On 11 January Benevolent dictatorship was declared as a form of government in the Erzikian Union.

Government

Erzikia's form of government is Benevolent Dictatorship, historically known by the ideological or philosophical name Enlightened Absolutism, is a form of dictatorship. Although the fundamentals of government are the same as a dictatorship, Benevolent Dictatorships are characterized by higher political freedoms and civil rights amongst residents of the state in question. Typically, a Benevolent Dictatorship promotes freedom of speech, demonstration, press, religion and/or thought and is considerably less oppressive than an authoritarian dictatorship. A benevolent dictator may allow for some democratic decision-making to exist, such as through public referendums.
