Daniel I of Daniel-Land is a Daniel-Landic British politician who has been the leader of Daniel-Land since August 9th, 2011. He was born in the UK, but now lives in Danland.
Biography
Micronational Life
The king first knew about micronations when he looked up information on the Grand Duchy of Avram on Wikipedia. He took a lot of interest on the hobby and started his own micronation, the Kingdom of Daniel-Land, as it was then known, on August 9th, 2011. It went inactive on September 7th, 2011 following wars, but it returned various times.
On December 26th, 2011, the Kingdom of Daniel-Land became the Independent State of Dan's Room (IDSR), which would become the State of Dianberg on 27th January 2012 and Danland on March 4, 2012.
On May 30th, 2012 the king of Danland was looking information on Utopia, which was it's ally at the time and took interest on a merger with Utopia, however this was not approved by the Emperor Karl of Utopia, because if this did happened, the Emperor would thought that he would abdicate in favour of the king of Danland being the new ruler. However, Daniel I of Danland had no plan to give up his reign nor his micronation, it was all going to be the same, although he had plan of adding the "Daniel-Land" name alongside the "Utopia" name, but another plan was to still keep the old name "Utopia".
He also said that he would want to become Utopia's first prime minister and establish the Utopian Dan Party. After months of joining other micronation, Daniel decided that he wanted Danland to be part of the fictional nation of Daniel-Land, which itself would be transformed into a stronger powerful micronation.
Personal life
The king has also invented 172 fictional nations with the flagship fictional nation being Daniel-Land. All of these countries are in a planet called Elsin.
Political views
Daniel is more liberal in politics, but according to his political compass, he is more centre-right. He sometimes favours Thatcherism on one hand. He supports the British Liberal Democrats and the smaller British Libertarian Party, the Siroccan Libertarian Party and the US Democratic Party, along with the American Libertarian Party.
