The 2005 International Cup was the third edition of this competition organized by the International Federation of Soccer Association, Mexico 2005 was the first time that a North American nation organized the FISA International Cup, in this event 32 nations participated.
The Competition
The competition was developed in the traditional format of 32 nations divided into 8 groups of 4 each, in order to advance the best two of each group to the next round, to compose the Round of 16, later the Quarterfinals, Semifinals , third place and the Grand Final.
