Tweedland, alternatively known as Fair Tweed or Thuaidh in Scots Gaelic, is a non-contiguous constituent country of the United Kingdom that borders Scotland and England. Much of the countries proclaimed area is located within the catchment area of it's namesake, the River Tweed, although controlled area extends as far as an exclave of land in the Outer Hebrides. It's capital, Buscarby, sits in the Tweedish County of Peeblesshire and is where the parliament known as the Hoolish takes session.

With a total population of 56, Tweedland is the smallest constituent country in the United Kingdom but is unrecognised by the Westminster government, and so advocates for Tweedish autonomy have begun a long campaign to try and attain devolution and recognition for Tweedish self rule from both Westminster and Holyrood.

The Hoolish parliament contains a seat to represent each of the 8 ceremonial counties and a separate seat for the appointed First Minister, who must run as a non-partisan candidate during their tenure. Tweedland's claim of land currently reaches over 50km2 with further expansion to be announced following the first election taking place on the 3rd of October 2015, where the constitution will officially take effect. Tweedland is a Constitutional Monarchy under Queen Elizabeth II, and grants ceremonial titles to landowners in the country, every elected First Minister has the ceremonial title of "Lord Tweed" bestowed upon them.

Economically, Tweedland has strong agricultural capability with fertile soil in most of it's counties. Tourism is also a large factor within the country's fledgling economy. A state-owned infrastructural and mining company called Fultmine was established at the Tweedish Office in Edinburgh and has plans to develop railway links between it's counties and in co-operation with Scotland's government. Environmental protection is a heavily important issue of debate in the Hoolish, with politicians on the centre-right suggesting that sacrificing some of the country's woodland in return for the development of infrastructure is necessary in order to have a reason to fight for home rule and devolution within Westminster.
Soikahttps://micronations.wiki/index.php?title=Tweedland&diff=120311Tweedland2015-10-23T15:31:47Z
Soika:

The British Crown Protectorate of Haarsland (Haars Gaelic: Bàn Mìr), also known simply as Haarsland, is a proposed constituent country of the United Kingdom that occupies the Isle of Scarp and sections of Lewis & Harris, bordering Scotland. Since 2015, the Gaelic/Norwegian speaking country has been actively seeking autonomy from Scotland and devolution to a local parliament. The region is currently governed as a part of the Comhairle nan Eilean Siar constituency of the United Kingdom and is officially represented in parliament by the MP of that constituency, although Haars Nationalists Matthew Saor-Lach and MacShuail campaign for recognition as a protectorate of the UK rather than as a part of Scotland. Culturally, Haarsland is Nordic and the government plans to run a devolved Nordic Model-style state under the United Kingdom's guidance. The official Head of State for the country is Elizabeth II, serving as the Toisiche (English: Leader), whilst three Ceannards (English: Stewards) are appointed as Heads of Government. Alongside Saor-Lach and MacShuail, Eòinean Leig was appointed as a Ceannard in July 2015 by the voting population of the country. Haarsland is officially run without political parties and is therefore considered a Non-Partisan Democracy. Of the 3 seats available, all appointed ministers are politically independent candidates. Haarsland's economy is dominated by the North Star Company, a scrap, shipping and freight company based in the country's largest settlement, Scarp.

Ecologically, Haarsland is considered one of the greenest countries on Earth due to it's low carbon footprint and heavy emphasis on environmental protection. The legislative document that is considered law in Haarsland, the Yywyr, outlines the continual plans for preserving local nature and ensuring that islands such as St. Kilda retain their UNESCO World Heritage status.
Soikahttps://micronations.wiki/index.php?title=Crown_Protectorate_of_Haarsland&diff=110665Crown Protectorate of Haarsland2015-07-29T21:43:13Z
Soika: Created page with "{{Infobox nation |name = Haarsland
Bàn Mìr |image1 = borderFlag |image2 = 75px<..."

Bromenia, officially known as People's Republic of Bromenia (Bulgarian: народи република братство (Narodi Republika Bratstovo)), is a landlocked sovereign state with limited recognition in Southeast Europe on the Balkan peninsula. Since it's inception, Bromenia has developed a defined folk culture that has often infiltrated government and political process. Bromenia is the third smallest country by size and the smallest by population at 42 people within it's 16km2 borders, surrounded completely by the neighbouring state of Bulgaria whilst only being located 2 miles north from Greece. Independence was officially declared in 2013, and since then the country has been plying for worldwide recognition. According to a document released by the Bulgarian government in 2008; the town of Dragostin, Bromenia's capital, was officially "erased" by their registers. The Bromeni government believes this to be a rite of which to claim independence, stating that the Bulgarian government no longer owns the land by default.

The country has been described as a modern-day ethnic Macedonian heartland, with it's unique cultural sphere that denotes a progressivist movement in the Balkans. The government have a strong focus on the development of science and technology featuring numerous research facilities being founded within Bromenia proper or international units being part-funded by the government. Uniquely, all branded items and products are banned within Bromeni borders, a part of the egalitarianist government's legislature that branded products impede inequality. Three main religions are recognised in Bromenia: Buddhism, Christianity and Hinduism; making it the only state in Europe to officially recognise Buddhism and Hinduism as a main demographic religion within the country. Bromenia has long upheld official armed neutrality, with plans further to develop basic military units.

By the international community, Bromenia is not recognised officially as a country although the government has maintained a desire to join the United Nations and the European Union. It is often likened to a Balkan-Switzerland due to it's policies and lack of Head of State although it's culture is more similarly placed with the FYROM Macedonia. The country was also the first in Southeast Europe to recognise same-sex marriage, a constitutional adoption under the Medium Rights Act of 2014. There has been in place a 7 year plan to renovate the present capital of Dragostin, a town abandoned by the Bulgarians that is currently being undertaken by the Yanitěva, the national assembly.

History
Independence
Between the 27 September 2013 and the 4 January 2014 there was an interim period in which Bromenia was preparing to declare independence from Bulgaria. Within this period of time, a selective group of candidates stood forward for the Presidency of what was at the time to be known as the Socialist Republic of Bromenia. Mattias Kočjek and Darío Mazěva were the primary candidates for the office during this interim period. Independence was officially declared on the 4 January 2014, with Mazěva elected as President after a hard fought campaign, winning the vote by a margin of 63%, with Kočjek obtaining 27% of the vote and another 10% going to the other candidates involved. Within the interim period a constitution was drawn up by all of those participating in the first Bromeni government, to be known as the Yanitěva. An amended copy of this constitution remains in practice within the country to this day.

This period also gave rise to the beginnings of a Bromeni nationalist movement, with many of Bromenia's to-be citizens interested in a self-governing country. There was much debate during this time as to how Bromenia should be governed, including discussions of a Capitalist, Liberal and Communist government. Many of the citizens were angered by the possibility of an athiest state, unwilling to adhere to such a policy in which they could not act out their religious ceremonies, including several candidates for presidency at the time.
Socialist Republic of Bromenia
The Socialist Republic of Bromenia was the first official governing force over Bromenia. It was ruled as a Marxist-Leninist Single Party State with the exception of the allowing of freedom of religion under the Bromeni Workers Party, led by Darío Mazěva. The socialist government created policies bolstering equality as a key belief of the country, although these policies were not fully enacted. After the 4 January, Bromenia's parliament held it's first session 14 days later in which the Prohibition Act was announced, prohibiting all alcohol in the country.

The Prohibition Act proved unpopular throughout the populace of Bromenia and it was thus not rigorously enforced. The Socialist government at the time was criticized for being loose with legal action which led the at-the-time Chancellor Mattias Kočjek to install a full judicial system which would be dedicated to enforcing the laws that the government put in place. The Panzake Guard were founded as an instrumental government agency who would protect Bromeni borders and attempt to ensure the future of it's independence, acting as border guards and entry officers, as well as managing any minor civil disturbances.

One of the most famous ploys of the Socialist government was the Sětšky Plan, a full seven year renovation plan for the country's decrepit capital Dragostin. The plan was to be officially enacted in 2015, but the current ruling government has revised the plan to begin in 2018. The government at the time also introduced prohibition of alcoholic items for a short period of time, a move now said to have taken place as an attempt to create an alcoholically secular populace and unique identity that would seperate Bromenia from neighbouring Bulgaria. This government also struggled to maintain it's socialist values through this time due to the lack of autonomy from Bulgaria.

In April 2014, the governing power was collapsed by Kočjek who had maintained most of the government's influence as interest was lost in a nationalist movement for Bromenia, with many of it's citizens becoming disinterested in an independent country. Kočjek believed this was due to a lack of culture and a focus on political stature and so established a new government with himself as the interim figurehead.
People's Republic of Bromenia
The People's Republic is the name given to the current ruling government of Bromenia. New laws were brought in with the introduction of this government, primarily listed in a document named the Bromen Nas Vestitat. The primary goal of the document allowed any person from Bromenia to stand as a representative in government - and that all parliamentary sessions would allow any citizen of the country to join the debate. It also laid out plans for the Vispo, an online voting portal that was created and completed later that year. This document also reformed the roles of government figures, such as the renaming from the title of "President" to "Representative of the Bromeni People". The government no longer held authority over the people of Bromenia, but acted as a representative group to the outside world and controlled imports and exports.

The new government also bolstered nationalism and an individual identity to further seperate Bromenia from it's Bulgarian heritage and attempted to lean the culture much closer to nearby ethnic Macedonia. The seperation between genders was also attempted to be closed, with women's rights becoming a priority of the government. LGBT rights in Bromenia also improved with the installment of the first openly homosexual minister, Dana Yůkov who serves as the Bromeni Ambassador to the United Kingdom. The final implementations of the document announced the new government's plan for complete secession by 2025, with the Dragostin restoration project to begin in 2018. This announcement saw the opening of the Dragostin Resource Renewal Centre, led by former President turned State-General Darío Mazěva who would also assume the role as Chief of the Panzake Guard.
Soikahttps://micronations.wiki/index.php?title=Ko%C4%8Djek&diff=102066Kočjek2015-06-11T21:12:07Z
