Nicholas Woode-Smith is a Siroccan politician. He is notable for being the founder and former President of the Zonian Confederacy, leader of its successor and President of the Siroccan Libertarian Party.

Woode-Smith lives in the region of Mechin. He is highly capitalist and is an atheist. He founded the Zonian Confederacy after discovering the concept of micronationalism on a guide. He founded the nation in what is now known historically as the Empire of Vista Nova. After he left the school, he established Zona in full.

History

While he was in the Anarchic State of the Empire of Vista Nova, he founded the Scourge Clan. There, he fought against the Bad Boys gang and the Blood Fangs Clan.

He fought in the Merchant War against the Bad Boys and assorted criminals, while allied with other merchants. Here,he won the title of Merchant Lord. In the same year, he fought in Blood Fields I and II, against the Blood Fangs. Nicholas showed his skill in warcraft and fighting in this battle. This was the first battle in the history of Vista Nova where all factions were armed and armoured. Later that year, he allied with the Bad Boys and Blood Fangs to quell a large rebellion. This would soon be called the First Midget Uprising.

Two years later, he helped organise the first Democratic election in 2009. He ran with his friends, Mathieu Thomas and Lesleigh-Ann Eksteen, as the Capitalist Party of Vista Nova. He ran against the Die-hard party, Anni-Savvana party and Party of the People. He won the election with a vast majority and led Vista Nova into a short but prosperous era.

This was short lived due to an uprising by the Party of the People. The Scourge Clan was refounded and had absorbed the Blood Fangs. Later that year, the 2nd Midget Uprising started and the Scourge had to stop the rebels from entering into Scourge Territory. Soon after that, the 3rd Midget Uprising started. The Rebels were attacking a family of Dikops (rare birds, important to the Scourge) to assert their control over the territory. The Scourge and Bad Boys joined forces once again and crushed the rebels in a huge battle where Woode-Smith was injured and still carries the scars.

In 2010, Nicholas Woode-Smith came to St. Georges School. Shortly after founding the Zonian Confederacy months before. There he met Robin Visser, Nicholas Marzio, Nicholas Babaya and many more who would become future citizens. In the existence of Zona from November 2009 to present day, he has held the following stations.

On March 21, 2012 the Zonian Confederacy was officially absorbed into the Federal Commonwealth of Sirocco as three new provinces collectively referred to as the Dominion of Zona, of which Woode-Smith is the leader. Woode-Smith also leads the Siroccan Libertarian Party and is the representative for Zageta province in the Siroccan Executive.
