The Joint Territory of the Pymatuning Lake Islands is an joint territory on the Pennsylvanian-Ohioan Border (in the U.S.) that is administered by both the Empire of Eniarku and Westsylvania. The territory came about upon a territorial dispute between the two nations, which ended when negotiations brought up the possibility of the joint territory. Both parties later accepted.
The joint territory is under the de facto control of Westsylvania, with Eniarku simply claiming the islands. The Westsylvanian government must, however, report to the Empire if they plan to engage in military operations on any of the islands. Westsylvania also has complete control of the area's internal and external affairs. It was closely modeled after the Joint Territory of Kessel, a region shared by the Republic of Molossia and Cheslovian Federation, except for the fact that it is located on the border of two micronations.
