The Intermicronational Environmental Year (ImEY) was an international event, organised by the Empire of Austenasia and the Republic of Molossia, that ran from 23 May 2009 to 31 May 2010.

The Intermicronational Environmental Year was designed to encourage micronationalists to do things to help the environment in a physical way, and to report back on what they did with a micronational slant.

Suggestions of ways to help the environment were (but not limited to):

  • Clearing up litter
  • Planting trees
  • Passing and enforcing new “green” laws
  • Making a wildlife sanctuary
  • Anything else you can think of

" How can you take part? Just represent your micronation in an activity in which you help out the environment in some way and make it a better place, for humans, plants and animals, to live in. Then, report on it and send the report (preferably with photographs) to the address below where they will be posted free of charge (or, post them on your own website and send us the link.)

Send your comments, suggestions, links and reports to: ImEY@molossia.org or austenasiapm@gmx.com. "
