[]All intellectual monopolies whose first instance [in the World] for that product is within the scope of protectable terms for Intellectual monopoly under this constitution, as well as may be permitted under them to be rendered open for deliberation by the Legislature of Greenway, shall be honored, if a claim is applied for through the Greenwegian [National] Intellectual Monopoly Office; Those claims of Intellectual monopoly that are outside the scope of protection provided by this constitution are considered lawfully void. The Privilege of intellectual monopoly as ensured under this constitution shall not be prejudiced against so far as it does not interfere with any of the equal rights of the People.
