His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Daniel KCM, known as Daniel Thomas Belcher outside of micronationalism, is the current heir to the throne of the Empire of Adammia, as well as its former Minister of Science and Technology. He is the former Duke of two provinces - Tytannia and Primoria - and is the former elected Councilor for the latter, and was for some time the only Independent member of the Ruling Council.

Non-micronational life

Daniel Belcher was born to Kevin and Jayne Belcher on 22 November 1999, their second son after Adam Belcher (b. 1998); Daniel's second brother, Jake Belcher, followed in 2004. In 2016, he completed his studies at a local British high school.

Micronational career

Daniel Belcher was one of the few individuals to have known of the concept of the Empire of Adammia before it was founded. After his brother Adam founded the Empire on 13 April 2013, becoming Emperor Adam I, Daniel planned to create a micronation of his own in his grandfather Reginald Hall's back garden, a territory which Adammia was also interested in annexing. On learning of these potentially competing claims, the brothers negotiated a deal under which Daniel would become a citizen of Adammia and would act as a "Governor" for the territory, which would formally be a province of Adammia but was originally given enough autonomy to be considered a micronation in its own right. This province, annexed on 21 April 2013, was Tytannia, though at the time it was only made up of the territory which is now Tytannia Major.

In the weeks and months that followed, Daniel's interest in micronationalism waned, and though it was never exactly specified what the powers of the Governor were originally, Adam was able to assert full authority over Tytannia by the time Imperial Decree IV was passed on 6 May 2013 with minimal controversy. Daniel's title of Governor was briefly changed to Archduke, before finally becoming simply Duke. When the current Supreme Directive came into effect on 30 June 2013, the Monarchy of Adammia changed from an appointed succession to an inherited succession, making Daniel the heir to the throne, giving him the title of Crown Prince.

Crown Prince Daniel was present at the first meeting of the Ruling Council on 6 July 2013. After his mother, Emperor Mother Jayne Belcher, was elected Prime Minister in the 2013 National Election, she appointed him to her Cabinet on 1 September 2013 as Minister of Science and Technology. In this role, he worked closely with the Emperor to establish the Adammic Imperial Space Agency in 2014. Tytannia was merged with Sapientia in November 2013, and Daniel's title of nobility was transferred to the Adammic Imperial Province (now Primoria), where he replaced Emperor Father Kevin as Duke. However, he also retained a ceremonial title from Tytannia, this being the Count of Tytannia Major. On 26 July 2014, the Crown Prince won the local election in Primoria, becoming the province's Councilor, replacing Emperor Adam. Shortly afterwards, in order to keep Ruling Council seats evenly distributed, the Emperor replaced the Crown Prince with his younger brother Prince Jake as Duke of Primoria.

Daniel served as Minister of Science and Technology until August 2017, when the Ministry was merged into the Ministry of National Development; by this point, however, he had not held any interest in micronationalism for several years and had only been holding the post in inactivity. When Primoria was merged into Greater Tytannia in October 2017 at the end of the First Era, Daniel ceased to be a Councilor and since then has had no role in Adammic politics.
