History

The party was registered as a political party on 24 March 2020. It was founded by T.L. and Imrich Kvajda. T.L. became President of the party. The first big win for the party was the election of T.L. as the head of the Transitional State Council. Then, their candidate Kvajda won the presidential election on 3 April 2020 and he had to leave the party as the President.[a] The party also won in parliamentary elections on 8 April 2020 with 3 seats in Federal Assembly. They formed a coalition with DaC and T.L., the President of CDA, became the Prime Minister of Baránok. The party was shortly a member of Union of the Democratic Left coalition together with Republican Party. On 8 August 2020, it was renamed to the Liberal Party. On 3 December 2020, the party merged with the Social Democrats into the Democratic Party.
