The 2013 Micronational Film Awards will be an awards show honoring the best micronational films from the 2010s. Presented by the Government of the Oasis Islands, the show will be hosted by President Casey Hamlin.
The award ceremony is to be held in a film festival style format, with filmmakers submitting their films to the organizers to be either nominated for an award or to be rejected, depending on the film's quality.
Micro nationalists will be able to submit their films for nomination into several, to be determined categories possibly including Best Picture, Best Short Film, Best Screenplay, etc.
Although the event was supposed to be held in March, it was pushed back to at least August.
